pigments on canvas, wooden frames

This work was mainly conceived on the idea that the Incan Empire ‘Tawantinsuyo’ flag looks very similar to the LGBTQIA+ one. Seeing very queer looking flags everywhere in an an oppressively Catholic and conservative society gave me many small moments of rebellious joy. I painted each colour with pigments bought in the Pisac market.
